She is so beautiful!!! I can't believe she is in my barn. Marilyn is a 1987 chestnut trakehner mare. She is by Samurai II out of Marzwind. She is a Mackensen grand daughter on her sire's side, and a Donauschimmer grand daughter on her dam's side. We are very fortunate to have a mare with such important lines.
Marilyn was bred last year to the great trakehner stallion Martini, who just recently passed away, but did she not catch. We are very disappointed about this. We hope to bred her this year to Feuertanzer, a fantastic Martini son, for a 2002 foal.
